Can I use the API without paid subscription?

Hi all!

Newbie question: Can I use the API to interact with my bunny without paying for a subscription? I don't see anything that says that I can't, but I'm confused, as I can send text-to-speech messages through the API.

If I understand right, without a subscription I only get 10 messages that I can send. But if I send messages to myself through the API (or, if that's not the right terminology, through the special link you write out), can I send as many as I like?

The answer is a bit late, but yes, it is possible to use the API without any subscription. You can indeed send as many text-to-speech messages as you like via the API. I expect Violet understands that without this, the Nabaztag will not be a big success...
