First belly blinks orange the rest stays orange but

I got a little longer with my Nabaztag. I forgot to blank out the SSID field after selecting the right one on the list. It was connected to my old WIFI for some time ago. But I did change the network SSID, so rember to blank out a written name....
Well after this the first bellylamp is blinking orange and the MAC-adress I can see on the wireless AP sometimes. Then the MAC-adress disappears again and the four lamps gives a short purple blink, then back to oragnge and then the first one starts to blink shortly after that.
As far as I know the connection dosn't stay stable.
Anyone have a clue? I have checked all settings and they seems to be OK.
My Android tab can't connect to the Nabaztag using the NabaztagXX network, is this a known problem or is something wrong at my end?

The WIFI AP should work but if you need me to check some parameters let me know.
I have three phones, an pad, three pc's and a radio connected all works just fine.

About Android tab. I have many devices, but only one works with my rabbits. It's a known problem, but has no resolution. Only to use the one that is ok with Nabz.

I don't see any error on your config.
You can try Auth "Open System" to change to "Shared Key".

Also hard reset router, modem and rabbit before connecting.

That's all I can think about right now. If not work we will call an expert here.

Maybe you can try to input static IP, DNS etc.

If all LEDs ar orange, the nabaztag couldn't connect to the WLAN of your Router.

I jave now dropped the WPA2 encryption and that give me two green lights, a flashing 3rd orange and an oragne nose.
I did this with DHCp and without - same result.
Also I did a hard reset and so on, still better with two green lights, but not OK all the way.
I only have an old explanation of the lights stating:
• First belly light is the connection to your network - green is good
• Second belly light is that the bunny has got an IP address on your network - green is good
• Third belly light means that the bunny can resolve the p.nabaztag.com web address - green is good
• The nose light confirms whether the server at p.nabaztag.com is responding to the rabbit's requests" - green is good

By the way, the old explanantion of the lights stating is correct.
So your nabaztag can't find the web-adress.

Rabbit configuration :
please put authentification on "shared key"

Can we have routeur configuration ? (print screen)

If your routeur is in WPA2, rabbit can't function (bad english i think)
Please put your wifi un WPA tkip (best) or in WEP

It is now setup as WPA but Rabbit can't connect now.

For me all is OK please check your wifi key !

And can you test in WEP ?

Put it back to WEP and now I get two green light. The third is blinking orange and the nose is orange all the time

All config is right...

Maybe try to fill the fields Gateway, DNS etc...
quack suggested it before.

I've got an idea.

1. You can try to connect without key, no encryption for the test.
I don't think all your neighbors will connect to your network right away.
But it can give an idea what is not right.

2. I don't know your key, but you can try to make it only ciphers or only letters in lower case.
All just for the test and will not ruin your security forever.

Done. But still only two green lights, so it might be at the server-side the problem is.

Last option I can think about.

Well done - some progress was indicated.
Got three greens light and a blinking green/orange nose.
After that a purple blink in the middle and then steady orange and no other lights.
Was this mean I don't know but it was better then before.

oh and I still can't register on the website using the mac-adress.

I have noticed that many updates in the setup-program (while connected to Nabaztag) does not get saved. It seems so but next time I connect (while rabbit is blue) the last change might not be saved, sometime is it but surely not everytime.

forgot to tell:
I noticed this when I followed your advice to go in and get rid of the portnumer. The adress was not the IP but the normal r.nabaztag.com/vl - still it did get almost green but did not save the IP.

I've changed routers two times in november. First one was broken. Second had a problem and I had to configure rabbits again and again. And yes, next time I entered config page I had to fill some fields anew. Was annoying

I still don't get what is not right with your rabbit...

I have decided to set up a third wireless AP and give it a new name.
This way I can test if it is my AP/Rabbit that are just incompatible.
I don't think I can get time for it today and tomorrow is New Year, sunday is recover-day.....
