MessageSujet: Questions from a future Nabaztag   Mer 18 Oct 2006 - 15:05

I'm considering buying one but I'm not quite sure about the following:

- Does the rabbit work ok?
- Do you really use it that much once it's not new anymore?
- Does the computer allways has to stay on?
- Is it portable (since I'm a student and spend mostof the time in my department and would like to have with me) aka is it big/heavy?
- What does "taichi exercises" mean?

nabz Would really appriciate any answers nabz

Yes (and if you have some problems, Violet's team or this forum are here to help you)

- Do you really use it that much once it's not new anymore?

Oooooh Yes!! You discover things everytimes. .Nabz owners always find some things/game to make you enjoy your nabz winknabz
- Does the computer allways has to stay on?

No. The nabz is not connected to your computer (except when you have to set it up), but to your wifi network.

- Is it portable (since I'm a student and spend mostof the time in my department and would like to have with me) aka is it big/heavy?

No it's not big neither heavy. You can take it with you. But you'll have to set it up every time you'll change it from a network to another one if these networks are secured.

- What does "taichi exercises" mean?

It's a service you can take a subscription to. It makes your nabz having exercises --> it moves its ears, its lights are blinking, it makes a little noise. It's very nice when you don't have many messages, it makes your nabz living winknabz

By wifi network you mean the modem the cables put in your home when setting up the internet?

And do you think it will work on the wifi network of the university?

(Yes I'm a nabz newbie)

You don't need any cable...

You don't need your computer anymore after the set up of your nabz...

If you have the SESSID and the WEP key (if existing), you should be able to connect to the wifi network of the university...
