He doesn't talk anymore

Hi folks,

again troubles with my tag/tag! :-(
It connects perfectly and everything went perfect until today afternoon ... He suddenly stopped talking. When I receive a message the earas are moving, the lights are flashing but I don't hear any sound!?!?
The volume setting is set right ...
Even when I remove the power and plug it in again I hear nothing. When double clicking on his head button there was always a sound ... Now there is NOTHING! :-(

any ideas? or is he faulty and I have to return it?

If you are sending written messages, these aren't working at the moment but the litte words are.there is no sound coming from these.
You will only get a sound from double clicking if there are messages to archive I think.
Are you subscribed to talking clock? this should give you a fair idea as this has been working fine today.

Just removing the plug and replugging won't make it give out a sound!

well talking clock and little words also do not speak any more too!
as mentioned before: even when pressing the head-button twice there is no archive sound anymore also ...

The rabbit just is moving the ears and the lights are blinking ... thats it :-(

How is he today? Mine is just fine with everything and he seems more stable/purple most of the time.

My father's rabbit has also gone mute... It started yesterday (Friday). Previously his new (Christmas) rabbit was occassionally working <grin>. So, take solice in the fact your muted bunny is not alone-- and he is of the older variety... Not a tag/tag-- just a tag!

Did you try to turn on sound with the button bahind your rabbit. Don't push up but push down it in order to up volume

Mine has done the same today - started saying the 10am announcement, but only got one word out before going silent. Lights and ears still work. If I send messages to it, the lights and ears work, but no sound - text to speech, mp3, midi - anything. The hourly time still comes through, but only the light/ears work :-(

Since this has happened to a few different people, I believe it is a problem with our servers.

My Nabaztag has gone silent from time to time since I have owned him, but he always comes back soon. Thankfully, this means there is nothing wrong with your Nabaztag.

There is nothing you can do to make him work better. All of the servers here are getting more stable by the day, so hopefully your rabbits will be perfectly fine very soon.

@BK: Thanks for your reply. I sent an email to Vioöet regarding this problem around christmas. As there was NO reply and I had to return the rabbit within a 7 days-span I already sent it back as faulty. I hope to receive my new Tag/tag within the next few days and hope that the server problem will be solved by then.

To be honest: I understand your server troubles but when buying a 140 Euro gadget I expect it WORKING (=talking) and NOT beeing calm ...

My Rabbit has been completely silent for a whole week.
I've had no reply from the email I sent to support.

Is there a problem on the server at the moment?
Is my rabbit sulking?

It's making me very sad.

Well the old one really must have been faulty ...
