finally I'm a proud owner of a nabaztag/tag and everything went fine so far.. I set up his preferences and all that and now he blinks violet. but the problem is: he doesn't appear in my network list! therefore I can't connect connect with it..

If he blinks Violet, it's working correctly ! when you've configured your nabaztagtag (blue mode) his network appear, but when it is in violet mode the network doesn't appear. It's Ok, that prouv that your rabbit work correctly. he is directly connected at your router.

well but I have to connect my macbook directly to the rabbit and not to my normal router, nor?

lol omg I just checked the serialnumber again and I read a '8' instead of a 'B'. oh my... but thank you for ur support! it work perfectly fine now

I'm not sure i have understood your question... but i still try

To configure the rabbit you connect your Pc at the rabbit. (Blue mode)

For normal use, the rabbit is connecting at your normal routeur directly.
