Opennab

Hi,
Is there anyone out there who can lead me on how to set up an Opennab server? I am using Windows XP.

I have now managed to connect the rabbit to opennab. However, right now, I can only use the reboot and sleep function. The radio, music playing and tts functions do not work. The nose does change colour to indicate that the rabbit has received the request but no sound came out of the speaker.

Opennab is dead !

I thought we cannot connect to Violet anymore but we should still be able to operate an offline server?

Yes. You should be able to use your rabbit offline - and only offline - with OpenNab AND a bootcode prior the Jabber one(s)...
Use advanced search, type your word(s) then click on the Google search button and may the carrot be with you !

Thanks. Where can I get the bootcode? I tried the jNabserver bootcode and one of the bootcode from the French API forums. All of them allowed me to connect to the rabbit(purple lights) but I can only get the LEDs and ears to work. I cannot get anything out of the speaker. The nose will blink red but no sound comes out. The changes I made to the original files are to set uncomment one module in ping.php, set servermode to standalone and set the server to my ip address. I did not change the pingserver or broadserver.

I managed to get the LEDs and ears working. I can also get the local mp3 file to play, but I am still unable to play mp3 streams.

I actually gathered the data from these forums, including the French ones(I used google to translate them to something that I can understand).

First we must set the servermode to standalone. Then set the boot server to your own server. I did not change the broadcast and ping server so maybe that is why I cannot get the radio function to work. Set these parameters in opennab.ini. We need a bootcode though. I got it from jNabserver v2's package.

Then we need to comment out the log function in ping.php.

That is all is needed I think.
