Stream MP3

I have heard that mp3 can be streamed over IP address. Does anyone know if I could stream this to the Nabaztag on the basis that once I start the stream I already know the IP address Nabaztag has been allocated by service provider router?. This would allow some nice usage of Nabaztag for wireless audio stream from PC.
