RSS Feed Assistance required please

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to help a new bunny out here.

I'm a complete dunce when it comes to electronics [ I can just about work my microwave after having had it for two years and still struggle to defrost anything].


I've managed to get my Nab plugged in and working, he's very happily singing, waggling his ears and reading my emails for me but I am totally confused about how to get him to read RSS.

OK here's the confession...I don't even know what an RSS is, I've got a feeling that if I enable a certain RSS on my rabbit that he will be able to read out headlines etc like he does with the news? Is this right?

I've managed t find a few RSS on Yahoo but the Nab site says that I have to enter the title of the RSS and the address of the RSS and I haven't a clue how to discover where these are located.

I'd be very grateful for any help

First of all, welcome and congratulation for having your nab up and running! You passed the most difficult part already!

As far as the RSS feeds are concerned, you are almost there!
Let's yahoo as an exemple, since you find some overthere.
This address got a nice list of RSS shortcuts, that are ready to use:
http://news.yahoo.com/rss
Just right-click on the orange icone 'RSS', copy shorcut, and paste into the address entry. Name it whatever you like, and you are good to go!

I love the RSS feed, it works really well. But you have to select them carefully, otherwise your rabbit will spend most of its time reading internet link. Just try them and keep the one you like!
