Did you try to move the ear manually? For example, put the ears at "noon" position and then, send a message to see if they are coming back to their position.

Press another time, and then, you'll have a sequence of different lights. Press two times more.
Did the two ears turn? In each way? Plug back your nabz, and do another test with sending you something.
