| Hi! I received a very cute bunny for christmas! Unfortunantly, I am having some difficulty connecting it to the network. I have windows' internet connection sharing turned on and a correctly configured ad-hoc connection (it's on channel 11). I am able to connect to the internet through that ad-hoc wireless network with my laptop, using 802.11b or g (using any speed up to 11Mbps / 54 Mbps). I have also connected to the bunny and set up the correct SSID, WEP, etc. I have tried with and without encryption (obviously modifying the computer's connection too). With no luck. When the rabbit tries to connect, it's lights turn orange. After a while, they start blinking (still orange). Can anyone help? Thanks for your time. | |

| Hi there,
Do you have DHCP enabled in the Nabaztag/tag configuration settings? | |

| Yes, DHCP is enabled. The laptop has no problems whatsoever acquiring an IP address. I have also tried using a static IP: no luck either.
Has anyone connected a Nabaztag to the internet through an ad-hoc connection?
Thanks. | |

| You must not use a static IP adress to connect with Nabaztag/tag. Your computer must have infrastructure mode and you will be connected with it | |

| Hi! The connection I am using (trying to use, apparently! ) is ad-hoc, so it is obviously NOT an "infrastructure" connection... I would be interested in knowing if anyone has succeeded in connecting their bunny using an ad-hoc connection. If, in the rabbit's configuration, I click scan for wifi connections, my network appears correctly, but no "Join" link is present... Cheers! | |

| Hey!
Yes, I have already read that page. As I said before, I seem to have configured the bunny correctly; ie, the same as my laptop computer, connected to the same network, where I am writing this very post. I have also tried various different combinations (no wep, shared key, various different channels, static ips, etc) but with no luck. My laptop could always connect with no problems whatsoever. :|
Cheers! | |
