Getting my Nabaztag to work.

I got my nabaztag in the post today, which I won from a windows live competition. Anyway, it won't connect to my router, it just flashes orange, and when I was registering it, it said it wasn't connected.

I guess it's to do with my router settings, (my router is a BT voyager 2110) but I don't know which settings to change, neither do I really want to have to change them as I have my wireless XBox live set up.

Also what will this nabaztag actually do? I didn't look into what one was when I entered the competition, and the single sheet of paper which is supposed to be the instructions doesn't say much.

put your rabbit number (at the bottom of the rabbit), your internet configuration, and your wi-fi configuration, they will answer you..

Are you usinge a WPA security ? Because the rabbit is not compatible with that;

It doesn't really matter now that I'm selling it, but thanks anyway.

I did turn WEP encryption off and it did work sort of, but I didn't know how to make it do anything, and It didn't do anything useful so I thought I may as well make a bit of money from it.

Nice to know you took the time to review the website and the documents on it that not only tell you how to set it up with WEP, but also nicely explain all the services available to users.

I looked at many documents but couldn't find about setting it up with WEP. All I could find was that you should disable WEP encryption.

I also looked at the services, and none of them seemed too interesting apart from RSS feeds, but I didn't want to have to pay for it.

Anyway, I left it for a few days to see if anyone posted, no one did, So I decided I'd just sell it, because I wouldn't really use it anyway.

Question: What services would have made you think "I would really use this" rather than "I wouldn't use it anyway"?

I liked the RSS feed, that seemed useful, but it didn't seem worth paying for as I could just check RSS feeds on my internet browser.

There are all sorts of things one can do with an Internet browser and a computer. Part of the goal of the Nabaztag is to not always have to have one's computer switched on and logged in so as to get the messages and information one wants. The Nabaztag provides a certain amount of the computer's notification functions without the computer.
