| Hey guys,
I just got my rabbit and I've been having some strange issues on my wifi. It seems to work for a time, but after a while if I use the voice command for anything (weather, radio, etc) it flashes its nose as if its doing something then goes back to doing nothing. Occasionally during radio it restarts (goes back to all yellow lights and reconnects). My router is configured with WPA (TKIP) and this is a Nabaztag:Tag. Would really appreciate it if someone had some input on this. Thanks!

| it appears to loose connection with at least the violet server, because it doesn't go to sleep when its supposed to. however when I restart him he connects and goes to sleep right away (he should've been sleeping) i cleared his sleep time and in 1 second he woke up. | |

| Hey you ! Your issues might not be related to your WiFi connection, but to Violet services themselves : rabbits sometimes are unstable... To reduce conection issues try the following : - set your router to broadcast on a fixed channel - give your bunny a fixed IP If troubles remain : - replace "violet platform" address (wich should be set to "r.nabaztag/com/vl") with "62.210.186.165/vl" Hope it helps, let us know ! | |

| Networking isn't really my strong point To assign an IP, do I just disable DHCP on my router and then in the nabaztag settings set the ip to be 192.168.2.x where x is in the ip pool? My router is 192.168.2.1 and the ip pool goes from 2 to 100. Im not sure if there's another setting in the router I should use, I've only ever used DHCP before. The router is now only broadcasting on channel 11 Thank you much for the help | |

| Do not disable your router ! Just go to your bunny's configuration page and set its IP to something like 192.168.2.101 (or anything up to 254) and fill in all other fields. If you hesitate when it's about DNS, just set it to 208.67.222.222, it should be fine. Oh ! And do not forget to choose "No" in the DHCP drop down menu. | |

| Ok I left the router settings as is and just adjusted the bunny's settings to what you said should work.
The result: the bottom three lights go green almost instantly (faster than before), but it blinks its nose orange for a few seconds and then all the lights go orange and it repeats.

| ah i didn't set the gateway. I set the gateway to my router's ip address (192.168.2.1). seems to be working as of now, will report back later if it retains the connection. just curious, where did you get that DNS setting from? Thank you very much! | |

| will do when i'm back (at work now). Just to post some other findings, it seems to remain connected fine as long as I don't use radio for more than 5 or so minutes. Weather and traffic commands are fine and it checks twitter and gmail the whole time. some kind of bandwidth overload problems? | |
