Getting Gmail alerts working

Is this also a migration issue or am I being dumb?

I want to setup my bunny to read my Gmail emails, however, I filled in the details as follows and they have been accepted, but the bunny won't read them. All she's been doing is... tai chi!

Possibly a migration issue. No joy with mine yet either, although messages, weather, moods and weekly assessment are all working.

Oh, and the all-important tai chi of course ;-)

I'm having the same problem with V1, but I can say the alerts worked fine before the migration so I imagine it's more than likely down to that but do not quote me. I hope the server issues are sorted out soon as I have just received a V2 bunny.

Firstly, only the e-mail accounts which a pop, imap or ssl protocol are compatible with the e-mail alerts. For example, you can't configure an alert with hotmail.

Secondly, due to the migration, the e-mail alert service is not available yet.

Is it possible to know when will the mail alerts be working again ?

Nabaztag's e-mail alert has never worked properly with g-mail. This is because g-mail is still in beta, and it is programmed a bit different than your normal POP3 e-mail.

We won't know how well tag/tag and our new platform work with g-mail until the e-mail alert service is back up...

It should work, as you can set in gmail options to activate POP3 servers so you can use gmail with other clients. Only the e-mail alert service seems down.
