msn messenger et al

hi all, just ordered my bunny, just got a few questions regarding this api malarkey..

whats the delay on sending messages to the nabaztag from the API? I've wipped up a plugin for gAIM that should (in theory) alert you to people signing on and off. My bunny's not arrive yet, so I cant test this. Obviously if its a large delay then the plugins useless

In theory, it is like very quick (less than one minute) but it depends... if you want to test it, i can help you !

excellent, you need the latest version of Gaim installed, and activeperl 5.8 installed BEFORE you install Gaim (otherwise perl plugins wont work).
I'll test with mine when it turns up and post it on my site then
