| Hello all, I have had my nabaztag for about a week now and it appears to be losing the connection rather a lot, I have no problem connecting initially but after a short time I get the orange flashing light from underneath.
I have tried various settings on my wireless router but this has made no difference. Other wireless devices are able to connect and maintain a connection without problems. Has anyone any ideas what might be causing this?
Cheers Nyami | |

| Hello nyami,
Do the other lights still purple? If only the underneath of your rabbit flashing in orange, it means that someone send you a "heavy" message (like an MP3).

| No other lights are lit and there doesnt appear to be any messages coming through (nothing plays on it and there isnt anything in my inbox on the nabaztag.com site).

| It's the orange light under your rabbit is flashing slowly it's a connection to the violet server problem. If it's flashing quickly it's a message. Do these cuts last long? Does your rabbit connect back to the server alone? Maybe you shoudl send a mail to Violet to ask them but I read in the forum that sometimes, the wi-fi has very short cuts that don't bother computers but can bother the nabz. Hope you'll have an answer soon. Take care, Aero :-) (and forgive me for my awfull english ) | |

| Hi Aero, hi all, I have the same problem you suspected by Nyami - would you write the solution, please? When I should receive a (heavy) message (BBC News) my nabaztag starts blinking quickly yellow with the light underneath (feet). And that was - I can't hear anything, he just blinks. I'd prefer to hear the message instead of having him blinking. What is the solution? Many thanks in advance for your help - merci/dziekuje/gracias/danke! z. | |

| Hi, Maybe you should go to your inbox folder on the nabztag website and see if there are not too much messages which are waiting to be listened. Clean your inbox folder and see what happens. Sometimes, it can block the reception of new messages. The other possibility is that the nabaztag servers can be pretty buzy. Does your nabz still flashing? Does he flashing some minutes and then turn back to violet or does it stays like this a looooooong time? Take care | |

| Hi Aero, the messages can't be the problem, my mailbox is empty. The nabz' configuration is not faulty, because sometimes (seldom) he reads the headlines. The busy server problem might be the reason for my nabz silence. Flashing - Yes, the problem persists. I regularly move with my nabz from one room to another, so I unplug and after plug him into another outlet. After he boots and connects, the message and the yellow light is gone. take care | |

| okaaay I surveyed it and:
- slowly blinking yellow light from beneath means hanging AP (my rabbit has own old AP - running with WEP on 11 channel, everybody else at home uses another AP with WPA2 running on channel 1). - quickly blinking yellow from beneath means rabbit attempting to reconnect to the AP/router (e.g. after router reboot) - quickly blinking lila means a download from violet and - slowly blinking lila means a normal living connection.
I hope this list will be a help for rabbit newbies.
