Help with lights

What does it mean when all of a sudden out of nowhere it lights up all red, its ears move a little bit, stop, continue, stop continue a few times and then goes back to normal possition follow by multicoloured lights, is this one of the services or something else.

i bet it does it every 10 mins with different lights....

yeah every so often, i did thin it would be one of those but didnt know why and what it meant. Its going to take some getting used to i think...
