Time announcements 1 hour out...

Is anyone else experiencing time problems since the switch to the new servers?

Here in the UK my rabbit has just (well 10 minutes ago) told me that it is 4 o'clock, when it is really 3 o'clock.

I haven't changed any of my settings from what they were pre-server swap.

Time annoucement here (the Netherlands) is fine.
But the second weather announcement is one hour off. I've set it up to announce on 20:30hr, but the rabbits speaks on 21:30hr. The first announcement is right on time in the morning.

Hey Simon,
Can you reset your clock service on the violet website, clear your brower and your cookies, set your clock annoucement and wait for the next clock annoucement.

Tell us if it's better. I have no problems with the clock here (I'm living in Paris, France)

No, this did not work.
Having many other problems:

Time announcement 1 hour out (i.e. 2pm here, time announced as 3pm)

Email notification not working.

RSS feeds not working

Rabbit keeps telling me I have a message and when I press his head I keep getting the same message - one that I sent last week.

Rabbit turned on at the weekend at the time set for him to come on during the week.

Any help gratefully received!

No probs! Wasn't sure whether it was the servers or my poor little rabbit!

I sure miss him talking to me throughout the day :-(

sipig. You are not alone. Got mine yesterday and is an hour out eg thinking GMT is GMT + 1

Are you in the UK? You are positive you set the time zone correctly in your account section?

Sorted just after posting cheers. just changed the time (GMT) back then forward again. Worked a charm.

I've subscribed to the hourly announcement and nothing has been heard here since I did this yesterday. I guess that is down to the issues they are having with the website.

Hey Longview, are you getting the talking clock now? my lil guy just told me it was time for lunch!

No not heard a peep out of him all day except for the messages I've been sending him (which reminds me, how come you can't message your own Tag when you have it restricted to friends only? Seems I should be his best best friend).

I'll try removing the service and adding it again.

The tech team is now aware of this bug although it may take some time to sort out. in the meantime, i would just take off the parental control. I've had my rabbit for a long while now and have never had any problems with strangers messaging me.

I've set it to be quirky so I'll see what happens -- interesting how you can select both types... Perhaps he can be normal AND quirky?

I got two quirky time announcements at 2pm and 3pm today but nothing since then. I guess this is something they are working on and will hopefully have fixed soon.

As far as Iam concerned, my Blaiz has told me the time on time, even if he told me he was tired at 9 o'clock...

Well straight after I posted that I got the 7pm time check and it also worked again at 8pm. I think I also just heard him at 9pm but I'm at the PC right now and he has taken up residence in the lounge. I've changed it back to normal so will see what happens at 10pm.

Does anyone know whether the time problem has been fixed yet?

My time zone in preferences is set to GMT, but my rabbit is STILL giving me the time 1 hour out. i.e 8pm here, rabbit announces its 9pm.

Also not going to sleep at the right time. This too is 1 hour out, plus at weekends he's now going to sleep at times I have set for weekdays.

The official list of which services are working and which aren't doesn't seem to mention time announcements...

I'm on GMT and my rabbit has always been telling the correct time, using quirky style since i changed my timezone preference to GMT.
