Help on power for Karotz

Hi,
I recovered a Karotz on ebay but it does not have power supply and battery.
Does anyone have information on the connector pin?

Mine is:

100-240V 50-60Hz 300mA
5V - 2000mA
- ---(o-- +

As long as it can fit confortably under its bottom piece (it's the same standard L jack the Nabaztag/Tag used to have and many universal adapters have too) and has those voltages it should be fine

Furthermore, Karotz have no batteries. Mindscape promised us a battery pack, Aldebaran pushed the date forward in time, then abandoned the Karotz project and the battery pack became vaporware.

unfortunately my problem is more serious ...
I miss some connector that should end with the plug that you quote..
follows the photo.
You can control what have you inside the battery compartment?

A missing piece to your Karotz is a plastic part that goes between the electrical connector and the pins inside the Karotz

If the connection is not the same as the Nabaztag: tag, it is smaller (below the Nabazta: tag and above Karotz) :

you can use a tester to understand which of the six contacts go to the plug of the transformer?

I opened the rabbit and all six are connected on the other side .. :-(

hoping there are no internal circuits into a plastic part....

I would look at it tomorrow, then I go to work.
I do not think there have a circuit inside given the weight, I think it's a plastic box with pine son that go, I will try to look see which pin wire will go ...

My voltmeter decided not to work ... (I'll go look for a new tomorrow to complete information)

So I opened the box to see coment is done inside, and there on a circuit but not top component, just the connection (it was easier to have put two wire ...)

For me the + and - go to pins 2 and 5 (trying to follow the circuit) but I test it tomorrow;)

I'll put the pictures that I made, now that I opened it and I'll look at it I would look good on the creation of a battery to make it more autonomous
